Microsoft’s New Initiative: Empowering Users to Create Autonomous AI Agents
In a groundbreaking move, Microsoft has announced that starting November 2024, users will have the capability to develop autonomous AI agents. These agents are designed to independently carry out various tasks including responding to customer inquiries, overseeing inventory, and identifying fresh sales prospects. Termed as “apps for an AI-driven world,” these agents can be crafted with ease using the Copilot Studio app, requiring only basic coding skills.
To further support users, Microsoft is launching ten pre-built AI agents that are ready for immediate deployment. These agents are engineered to streamline routine operations such as client interactions and managing the supply chain. This initiative not only enhances operational efficiency but also opens up new avenues for leveraging AI in everyday business processes.
