Amazon to Incorporate AI-Powered Package Retrieval Technology to its Electric Vehicle Fleet

Amazon has recently revealed that it will be incorporating new AI-powered package retrieval technology to its electric vehicle fleet. This technology, known as Vision-Assisted Package Retrieval (VAPR), will help drivers prioritize packages for delivery at the current stop by highlighting them with either a green circle or red light. The company plans to install this system on 1,000 of its electric Rivian vans by early 2025.
