Stunning Images of Colliding Galaxies Captured by Space Telescopes

The Hubble Space Telescope and the James Webb Space Telescope have recently captured breathtaking images of two spiral galaxies, IC 2163 and NGC 2207, in the midst of a cosmic collision. Situated approximately 80 million light-years away in the Canis Major constellation, these galaxies present a haunting visual in the form of a pair of “blood-soaked” eyes. The timing of the release of these images, just before Halloween, enhances the spooky effect they convey.
