Boeing’s Challenges and Efforts in the Commercial Crew Program

Since joining NASA’s Commercial Crew Program in 2014, Boeing has encountered numerous obstacles with its Starliner spacecraft, which has yet to achieve a fully successful crewed flight. In response, the company has initiated major changes to prioritize safety and enhance its reputation. Despite these efforts, Boeing continues to grapple with financial challenges and faces stiff competition from rivals such as SpaceX, which has already successfully sent its Crew Dragon to the International Space Station (ISS).

To regain trust and recover from these setbacks, Boeing must persist in making substantial improvements. This is particularly crucial as the company plays a role in forthcoming space missions, including NASA’s Artemis program.
