Final Chance to View the Milky Way

Tonight presents the final opportunity to clearly observe the Milky Way before it descends towards the southwestern horizon and is hidden by the horizon haze in October. With the moon rising late, the sky will remain dark and moonless, creating perfect conditions for viewing the Milky Way. This chance to see the Milky Way will persist throughout the month, however, starting in October, it will not be visible again until April.
