China’s Tiangong Space Station Expansion and Developments

China has been actively managing the Tiangong space station and has announced plans for its expansion. The expansion plan involves adding new modules and upgrading the existing ones to transform the station’s current T-shape into a cross or Double-T shape. This transformation will facilitate more space science experiments and accommodate larger extravehicular activities.

In addition to the expansion of the Tiangong space station, China is also working on developing a renewable spacecraft named Mengzhou. This spacecraft is designed to support an increased number of astronauts for both lunar missions and operations aboard the space station. Furthermore, China is focusing on enhancing international cooperation in space exploration, aiming to collaborate with other countries in advancing space science and technology.
