Chile and Cyprus Join the Artemis Accords for Moon Exploration
Chile and Cyprus have recently become signatories of the Artemis Accords, a framework of principles and guidelines initiated by the United States to ensure peaceful and responsible exploration of the moon. With the addition of these two countries, the total number of nations committed to the accords now stands at 47.
The Artemis Accords are designed to facilitate a sustainable human presence on the moon by the end of the 2020s. The accords emphasize international cooperation and the importance of conducting space exploration in a responsible manner. By joining the Artemis Accords, Chile and Cyprus are aligning themselves with these goals and contributing to a collaborative effort for lunar exploration.
