Apple Offers Up to $1 Million for Security Vulnerability Reports
Apple has recently declared its intention to offer substantial rewards to security researchers who can identify and report security vulnerabilities in its private AI cloud. The tech giant is prepared to provide a maximum bounty of $1 million for exploits that enable the execution of malicious code on its Private Cloud Compute servers. Furthermore, Apple is also offering additional rewards of up to $250,000 for reporting exploits that could potentially extract sensitive user information or customer prompts.
In addition to these specific categories, Apple is also open to considering significant security issues that fall outside these parameters. For such cases, the company is offering rewards of up to $150,000 for exploits that manage to access sensitive user information from a privileged network position.
This initiative by Apple underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing the security of its private AI cloud and protecting user data by incentivizing skilled security researchers to identify and report potential security threats.
