Earlier this month, the comet known as C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS), dubbed the “comet of the century,” was clearly visible to the naked eye. This celestial event reached its peak visibility during its closest approach to Earth on October 12, 2024. While the comet has since faded and now requires binoculars or a telescope to be seen, it remains a point of fascination for both photographers and astronomy enthusiasts alike. Currently, it can be spotted in the night sky of the Northern Hemisphere, positioned predominantly high in the southwestern sky following sunset.
