Investigation Launched into Tesla’s Full Self-Driving System After Fatal Crash

The U.S. Department of Transportation has launched an investigation into Tesla’s Full Self-Driving system after a fatal crash occurred. The focus of the investigation is on the system’s performance under low visibility conditions and its capability to detect and respond correctly. This inquiry has been prompted by four separate crash reports, one of which tragically resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The investigation covers an estimated 2.4 million Tesla vehicles that are presently in use on American roads.
