Tesla Awaits Approval for Full Self-Driving Capabilities in China

Tesla Inc is still awaiting approval from the Chinese government to introduce its full self-driving (FSD) capabilities in China, according to a report by China Daily. The company’s plan to roll out this technology is currently under review, awaiting authorization from various Chinese regulatory bodies. One of the primary concerns surrounding the approval process is data security. Tesla is hopeful to launch its FSD technology in China by the first quarter of 2025, with expectations of receiving the necessary regulatory approvals by the end of 2024.
