Exploring Immunity and Heart Health in Space: Crew-8’s Return and Research Highlights

The focus of recent studies aboard the International Space Station centers on the impact of microgravity on astronauts’ immune systems and cardiovascular health. Researchers are conducting specific experiments to understand how space travel affects immune responses and blood pressure levels in astronauts.

In addition to these health studies, the Crew-8 mission is preparing for its return to Earth. The astronauts are scheduled to depart the space station aboard the SpaceX Dragon Endeavour, with their return planned for no earlier than Sunday, depending on favorable weather conditions. After spending seven months in space, the crew will bring back valuable data and research findings that will contribute to our understanding of human health in space.
