United Launch Alliance has prepared its second Vulcan Centaur rocket for launch at the Space Launch Complex-41 in Florida’s Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The rocket is scheduled to launch on Friday (Oct. 4) after undergoing a key fueling test called a wet dress rehearsal (WDR). During the WDR, the rocket will be loaded with a million pounds of cryogenic propellants and put through a complete countdown procedure. If the WDR and other checkouts go well, the Vulcan Centaur will launch from SLC-41 on Friday during a three-hour window that opens at 6:00 a.m. EDT (1000 GMT).
