According to the survey, Vice President Kamala Harris may need to work on attracting more support from the crypto community in order to strengthen the Democratic Party’s chances of winning. The survey polled 804 registered Democrats and found that 18% of Democrat voters have invested in crypto, with expectations that this figure will continue to rise over the next year.
What’s more, among this demographic, 9% are “very likely” to invest in crypto in the coming year, and 18% are “somewhat likely.” This suggests that there is a significant portion of the Democratic voter base that is interested in cryptocurrency and may be swayed by a candidate who supports it.
This is not the first time that cryptocurrency has been a topic of discussion in the political sphere. In fact, some politicians have already taken steps to embrace the technology. For example, Miami Mayor Francis Suarez has been vocal about his support for Bitcoin and has even proposed that the city should invest some of its treasury funds in the cryptocurrency.
However, it seems that there is still some work to be done in terms of convincing the wider political establishment of the potential benefits of crypto. The survey found that only 5% of Democrat voters believe that cryptocurrency should be a priority for the government, while 27% believe that it should not be a priority at all.

As more people become interested in cryptocurrency, it is likely that politicians will need to take notice and adapt their policies accordingly.
